TEXTBOOKS and COURSE MATERIALS

The faculty for DMBA classes expect all students to be ready to start classes on the first day of the semester.  Don't wait until the first day of class to order your textbooks.  Many classes will have assignments due during the first week.  The UCCS Bookstore sells textbooks online and in most cases, the books can be ordered on the first day of registration.

Local students, if you plan on going to the bookstore to purchase your textbooks, you need to go to the Customer Service Desk.  Be sure to tell the bookstore you are taking a Distance MBA course.  If you don't tell them you are taking a DMBA class, they will assume you are asking about course material for a campus class and textbooks are not available for campus classes until about two weeks prior to the semester starting for fall and spring and one week prior to the start of the semester for summer.

Required and optional course materials will be available at the Bookstore.  Each course taught will be identified by Department, Course number, and Section.  Some used books are available for most classes.  Used books sell for 25% off the book's list price when new.  You can order your materials on-line though the campus bookstore.   From the options on the left side of the page, select Textbooks.     Select the course prefix, and then click “Continue to Select Courses”.  Select the course, and then click “Continue to Get Course Materials”.

Course material will be either REQUIRED or OPTIONAL.  Be sure you order all course materials that are shown as REQUIRED.
