Students pursuing the Management emphasis complete 9 semester hours in their area of emphasis beyond the Core courses and any required Preparatory courses, plus 6 hours selected from any Areas of Emphasis.

MGMT 629. Managing Organization Development, Change, and Transformation
In an environment of dynamic, non-stop change and ever increasing competition, the organizations that have the best skills in developing healthy, high performance organizations and managing change will have a significant competitive advantage. MGMT 639. Managing Human Resources for Competitive Advantage
Presents an overview of contemporary human resource management. Topics include job analysis, staffing, performance appraisal and development, training, compensation, career planning, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, and ethics.
