The application process should begin 4-6 months prior to the deadlines listed to the right. This allows sufficient time for transcripts to arrive and the GMAT or GRE and TOEFL to be taken.
Special Note to current/former UCCS students: The Graduate School of Business Administration no longer accepts Guaranteed Early Admit or Fast-Track applications. All new applicants must follow the application steps, as outlined below.On Campus MBA - International Checklist
- Download the International Application Package
- Part 1 (complete both pages)
- Financial Statement for International Students
- Include all necessary notarized signatures
- Fill out the Online Pre-Application Questionnaire (you do NOT need to fill out the full online application as instructed after completing the questionnaire. Please complete the International Application Package only).
- $75 non-refundable application fee (can be paid via money order or check made out to UCCS)
- Affidavit of Financial Support
- From a financial institution providing proof of financial resources
- Official scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) OR official scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
- GMAT Information
- GMAT no longer uses school codes. UCCS will be listed as an option under Part-time MBA Programs.
- The average admitted applicant total test score is 540-560.
- GRE Information
- The UCCS school code for the GRE is 4874
- The Business Department code for the GRE is 4201
- The average admitted applicant total test score is 1120 (verbal + quantitative).
- Applicants need to take the general test ONLY
- Official scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- The UCCS test code is 4874
- Minimum score accepted by UCCS:
- Internet based: 79
- Computer based: 213
- Paper based: 550
- UCCS TOEFL score waiver requirements:
- Applicant has a degree from the United States
- Language of instruction was English
- Two (2) official transcripts from ALL institutions of higher learning ever attended, regardless of the number of credit hours taken or degrees earned.
- All transcripts must be in English or with official institution translation
- Copy of Bachelor's degree
- Current Resume
- Statement of Interest: A formal statement indicating why the applicant is interested in pursuing an MBA (i.e., career enhancement, improve knowledge in a certain area, etc.). There are no length requirements.
